The exhibition was canceled due to a lack of entries. I think that had a lot to do with the economy - I spoke with other arts organizers and found out that exhibitions all over the country are way way down in entries. I'm hoping the econ…

Is there a venue in Las Vegas where a poet, artist, etc may read and or
display a piece of their work without a jury, without a fee? Are there
any vacant buildings where this could be done temporarily? Where people
might gather share art and discourse for a few moments?

This outreach is way overdue. I've been having small sessions with area artists, and they are all desperately needing a network for exposure of their artistic efforts. I, for one, appreciate this latest of your effort. I hope I can be of assistance in some small way. Thanks. Perhaps, we can work on providing an artistic hang-out for area youth. Let me know if you think it a worthwhile activity.

I got an email saying there were not enough participants this year.
Maybe there will be another show of some kind we can participate in.
But I am new here so I dont know exactly how it works.
